This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Do not allow worries or burdens to steal your joy today. Choose deliberately to celebrate the goodness of God and walk in the confidence that He has already gone ahead of you.
In this year of double harvest, God invites us to live as sons and daughters, not as slaves weighed down by fear or circumstances. We refuse to walk like defeated people. We are the redeemed of the Lord. We are the head and not the tail. With God on our side, we are the majority, no matter how many challenges surround us.
The Lord has invited us to cast every burden upon Him. He carries what is too heavy for us and gives us His easy yoke in exchange. School fees, health issues, family needs, or any overwhelming situation — bring them to the altar today. Nothing is too hard for our God. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Silver and gold belong to Him. He turns situations around for those who trust in Him.
As prisoners of hope, hold firmly to the promise in Zechariah 9:12 (NKJV): “Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.”
Do not leave this place carrying the same heavy load you brought. Lay it at the feet of Jesus and walk out with a smile, knowing it is already done. Celebrate because your breakthrough is on the way. Rejoice because God is fighting for you. Refuse to live as slaves when you have been called into freedom and abundance.
Application Choose today to rejoice and be glad, refusing to allow burdens, fear, or circumstances to rob you of the joy the Lord has given. Cast every care, need, and overwhelming situation at the feet of Jesus, trusting that nothing is too difficult for Him. Live as a son or daughter of God — confident, hopeful, and expectant — rather than as one defeated or enslaved by problems. Hold tightly to your hope in God’s promises and walk out of every season of worship or prayer knowing that your double restoration is already secured in this year of double harvest.
