In this year of double harvest, we are reminded of the depth and reliability of God’s love. His love is not seasonal or conditional but everlasting — constant, pursuing, and transformative. It endures through every trial, every failure, and every season of waiting.
The Scripture affirms this truth in Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV): “The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.'”
God’s everlasting love draws us with lovingkindness. It is the foundation of our relationship with Him. Even when we feel distant, unworthy, or overwhelmed by circumstances, His love remains steadfast. It is the same love that sent His Son to the cross, the same love that pursues the prodigal, and the same love that restores and renews us daily.
This love invites us into deeper intimacy. It calls us to trust Him fully, to surrender our burdens, and to remain in His embrace. In moments of depression, anxiety, or uncertainty, we can declare that we belong to a loving Father who never abandons His own. His love turns situations around, unstucks what is stuck, and brings victory where defeat seemed certain.
Because of this everlasting love, we can approach Him with confidence, knowing He hears us, answers us, and works all things for our good. He is our Owner, our Protector, and the One who takes preeminence in every area of our lives.
Application: Anchor your heart in the reality of God’s everlasting love, allowing it to draw you closer to Him even in difficult seasons. Trust His lovingkindness to sustain you, restore what has been lost, and turn around every stuck situation in your life. Surrender fully to His embrace, refusing anxiety, fear, or discouragement, and declare daily that you belong to Him. In this year of double harvest, let the assurance of His unchanging love fuel your faith, obedience, and expectancy for multiplied blessing and victory.
