Care Ministry
The segment dealing with welfare ie sourcing of alms from church members’ clothes, foodstuffs, financial assistance, etc is under reorganization.
This is to enable the ministry to reach out to Hospitals, Prisons, Children’s homes, and other institutions where the light of the gospel as well as other life support services can be delivered in love.
This department is in many ways an extension of the pastoral ministry given that it provides contact with the congregation in any given service. Visitors view a church as ” only as good as its ushers.” We, therefore, attract or repel would-be members of the body by our mere conduct.
On this understanding, we extend our hand of love, care, and compassion to our members, visitors, and others as we celebrate God’s grace in our lives.

Our commitment
The ushering ministry values greatly and considers as a priority, prompt attendance to planning sessions in order to keep every usher on the same page and to sustain an optimal level of service through duty allocations
Our Mission
To deliver quality and sustainable services to all church attendants with integrity in order to multiply the sons and daughters in the Kingdom of God. (Matt 28:19-20)
“To attract many sons and daughters into the Kingdom through dedicated service that demonstrates the character of our Lord Jesus Christ in walk and faith.
Our Objectives
We seek to allow the Holy Spirit to mold us so that we can become vessels of honor to be used to reach the lost both in the church as well as in the world where we live and work. Holiness, integrity, and righteousness be our drivers in our quest to serve God.
Statement of Purpose
Our primary responsibility is to facilitate, support, and promote to the best of our ability, realization of the corporate vision and mission of the Local Church through selfless, dedicated, proactive, and sustainable
Service to all.
We believe that ushering is an integral part of the overriding servanthood ministry established and clearly demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ (John 13:5-10) in His divine service to disciples as a sign of humility for which He died on the cross.
It is also an extension of the pastoral ministry given that ushers are the contact points with members and non-members who visit our church during any given service. Visitors view a church as ” only as good as its ushers”.
It is, therefore, true to say that ushers have the ability to retain or repel would-be members of our church by their mere conduct.
With this understanding, we extend our hand of love, care, and compassion; to the members of our Church/family, visitors as well as any other person we meet to celebrate God’s grace in our lives.
