Apostle Anthony Komagum
Sunday Service on the 24th day of May 2026
In this year of double harvest, God is opening the book of remembrance for those who fear Him and meditate on His name. Many believers have wondered whether it is useless to serve God, especially when they see the proud and the wicked seemingly prospering while they walk in mourning.
In Malachi 3:14-18 (NKJV): “You have said, ‘It is useless to serve God; what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked as mourners before the Lord of hosts? So now we call the proud blessed, for those who do wickedness are raised up; they even tempt God and go free.’ Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name. ‘They shall be Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘on the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.’ Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.”
The book of remembrance is not because God forgets — He knows every detail of our lives and is a present help in time of need. It signifies a divine kairos moment, an appointed time when God manifests Himself powerfully on behalf of His people. This moment often aligns with a state of spiritual maturity where we can properly steward the blessings prepared for us in Christ.
As long as we remain like children, we differ little from servants and remain under tutors and guardians until the time appointed by the Father. Maturity allows us to govern what God has ordained for us. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning — not merely because circumstances change, but because we reach a place of revelation and understanding that God is in control.
Serving God is never in vain. There is great reward in it. In this kairos season, God is distinguishing between those who serve Him and those who do not. He is proving Himself faithful and turning situations around for His glory. Do not delay your maturity; position yourself to receive the manifestation of what He has programmed for your life.
Application Fear the Lord, meditate on His name, and continue serving Him faithfully even when it seems unprofitable or when the wicked appear to prosper. Allow God to bring you to spiritual maturity so you can steward the blessings and double harvest He has prepared. Embrace every kairos moment as your appointed time for divine manifestation, trusting that He remembers you and will make you His jewel. In this year of double harvest, discern clearly between the righteous and the wicked by your continued obedience, and expect God to spare and honour you as a son who serves Him.
